In the 90's the Matsureva tavern is one of the first taverns in Bansko.

It bears the name of its owners the Matsurevi family. It was created with a lot of love, perseverance, hard work and desire and for a few years suffered changes, extensions and innovations.

After the construction of the hotel part in 2006, Matsureva tavern is not only a tavern, but a complex called Matsurev Khan. If you have not yet met the famous hospitality of the local Banskoi, it is the place where you will eat and rest properly.

Besides the warm, authentic and traditional atmosphere, you will be welcomed by the kind hosts who will take care of your pleasant stay. The tavern offers Bulgarian national cuisine, traditional banana specialties cooked on a plate, on a plate and in a furnace.

You can find over 30 kinds of salads, you can try over 200 dishes, homemade dishes and desserts, enjoy over 70 red and white Bulgarian wines, you will also have the opportunity to have a drink from the homemade Greek wine and to replace the real homemade Dried Bansko Butt (Bansko Kreshchina).

Here food is a ritual. For breakfast, you can try some of the specialties that the hostess personally prepares - a banitsa with cheese, mash, home-made sheep's yoghurt, pancakes or fried slices with homemade jam and berries jam.

As good-culiners, hosts also perform special orders - for example, supplying a whole piglet or lamb baked to the oven. And those who want to pamper can order from the specialties of the hostess-kapma, chumlek, banka barka (kachamak), banish braid, etc., and Ivan Ivan will gladly open a bottle of white wine or drink a wine jar from the cellar.
